Alle gewinnen kann der schwule Theaterschaffende aber nicht, denn in manchen Kategorien ist das Stück gleich mehrfach nominiert. Weitere Nominationen gingen an Musicals und Theaterstücke wie Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Moulin Rouge, Jagged Little Pill, sowie auch an das Aids-Drama von Matthew Lopez The Inheritance. Er bekam dafür 11 Nominationen!
Das letzte Mal, dass ein Stück 12 Nominationen erhielt, war Angels In America, ebenfalls über HIV/Aids.
